The three contracting parties signing the agreement undertake to comply with all agreed provisions in order to ensure that the student can obtain direct recognition of his studies abroad. At the end of the recognition procedure, the Office for International Mobility will carry out continuing vocational training in Esse3 as part of the validation procedure: teaching activities carried out abroad and the resulting compliance with the examinations provided for in the programme are professionally recognised. For student mobility for study purposes, the Learning Agreement for Studies should indicate the teaching elements that will be replaced at the diploma at the end of the study abroad, as set out in the guidelines below. . NB! It is not possible to recognise local language and/or culture courses as free choice credits or as a substitute for compulsory studies. . The use of supernumerary credit recognition is only permitted on a subsidiary and marginal basis, as one of the following cases is applied: the agreement on learning mobility and the attached learning agreement for studies aim to prepare exchanges in a transparent and efficient manner so that the student concerned obtains recognition for his or her activities abroad. The agreement defines the curriculum and is approved by the student and the school of origin and destination before the exchange. It contains all the knowledge that the student should acquire during a stay abroad.
